SHIRLEY (WBZNewsRadio) - When Russell Osborn's wife passed away in 2007, he vowed to never marry again. Then, last summer he met Nancine.
"Best thing that's ever happened to me," He said, "Nancine's got a heart of gold."
76 year old Russell and 69 year old Nancine tied the knot on Valentine's day in front of their family and friends at 2Life Communities' Shirley Meadows Campus in Shirley.
"I didn't think it was possible but it is. And I know, if it happened for us, it can happen for other people." Nancine said. "I'm really excited to start a new chapter in my life, just being happy and growing old together."
The pair met last summer when Nancine moved into 2Life Communities' Shirley Meadows Campus, just three doors down from Russell. They got engaged just two weeks ago when Russell popped the question.
"Instead of a box of chocolates, why don't we get married on Valentine's Day?" Nancine responded. And the rest is history.
