CONCORD (WBZNewsRadio) - A senior living facility in Concord was evacuated and four people were taken to the hospital after a carbon monoxide leak.

Concord Public Safety Communications responded to the Deaconess Abundant Life Communities around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, and found multiple carbon monoxide alarms ringing.

70 residents were quickly evacuated after highly elevated levels of carbon monoxide were detected through out the building. These residents have been temporarily relocated with no timeline for when they might return to the facility.

As a precautionary measure, two residents and two contractors working on site, were taken to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the leak.
