TEWKSBURY (WBZNewsRadio) An Everett man is facing a number of charges after allegedly trying to run down two women after breaking into a home in Tewksbury earlier this week.

Tewksbury Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering on River Road, just before 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening. While on their way, officers were told there was a black SUV driving erratically in the area of the reported break-in. Officers were also told there were reports that SUV may have hit a woman in a nearby yard.

During their investigation, police came to the conclusion that after taking off on foot from the home on River Road, the suspect got into the vehicle and tried to run over a woman on Mount Joy Drive. Surveillance video shows the suspect driving through a yard in an effort to hit the woman with the SUV.

Thankfully the woman jumped out of the way, but the SUV continued on, driving through the yard and hitting another woman in the leg, before hitting a rock wall as it took off.

Police determined that Tommy Moges was behind the wheel and took him into custody with the help of Everett Police.
