NH Woman Facing Charges After Crashing Into Home While Under The Influence

METHUEN (WBZNewsRadio) - A New Hampshire woman is facing a number of charges after crashing into a home while under the influence of drugs on Wednesday afternoon.

It was just after 1:30 p.m. when Methuen Police responded to 91 Broadway Street for a car versus a building. When officers arrived, they discovered a Volvo station wagon had hit the home, causing the front porch to collapse.

During their investigation, Methuen Police said the 31 year old driver from Kingston, New Hampshire, was allegedly huffing and had "blacked out" ahead of the crash. She was taken to the local hospital and is expected to be ok.

Thankfully no one else was hurt in the crash.

Next, the woman will appear in court to face a number of charges including operating under the influence (second offense), marked lanes violation, along with speeding violations.
