SAUGUS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Following its WrestleMania 39 debut, the Kowloon-themed Nike Air sneakers that John Cena wore to the event are back in Saugus with the wrestler and actor's signature.

Cena poses with the sneakers, holding a 'thank you' card.

The pair of shoes were part of a limited edition created by local artist Blueswaydshoes in a collaboration with the Kowloon restaurant. The fresh kicks featured the North Shore landmark's signature red, black, and gold colors at $495 a pair.

Cena wore the pair seemingly as a nod to his roots, as the Hollywood actor is from West Newbury which is just a roughly half hour trip up I-95 from Kowloon.

Owner Bobby Wong has said in the past that he would like to continue putting out limited edition shoes, potentially with local charities and their logos to benefit them.
