RAYNHAM, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - There's one less name on the state's most wanted fugitives list after Davis Lynch was arrested following a car crash in Raynham Thursday.
Around 3 p.m. State Police Troopers spotted Lynch, who was wanted for murder in connection to a deadly shooting in Brockton last November. The 24-year-old was in a BMW SUV in the parking lot of a motel in Middleborough. Authorities allege Lynch rammed two police vehicles before speeding off onto Route 44.
Lynch led troopers on a chase, but managed to lose the tail. A short time later, Lynch's SUV was involved in a crash at the intersection of Orchard and Warren Streets in Raynham. One other car was involved, the driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Lynch and his passenger took off on foot, but troopers quickly caught up with the pair and placed them both under arrest. They were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, where they remain under police watch.
Lynch had been wanted for murder in connection to a shooting homicide on November 2, 2022.
Meantime, his unidentified passenger is also facing charges related to Thursday's incident.
