BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - Boston police are searching for a man, wanted on a straight warrant out of Dorchester District Court for Murder and weapons charges, in connection to a deadly shooting back in February.
Authorities said Stepheon Wells, was last seen in the area of South Boston, and add he may be armed. He's described as a 20-year-old Black man, around 5'3'' and weighing roughly 125 lbs.
On Sunday, February 18, 2023, Boston police responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 15 Fermoy Heights in Dorchester just before 9 p.m. When they got to the scene, officers found 32-year-old Diva Ayuso, who had been shot several times. He died on scene.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
