RANDOLPH, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - A 15-year-old from Brockton is dead and three others are recovering in the hospital following a serious crash on North Main Street.
Randolph Police were called just before 10:30 p.m. for a report of a single-vehicle versus a tree in the area of 701 North Main Street. Detectives said their initial investigation indicates the car was traveling southbound, when for unknown reasons, it left the roadway and collided with the tree.
Terry Boston, Jr. of Brockton died at the scene. A male passenger was flown to Boston Medical Center, where he remains in the ICU. Two other female passengers were also hospitalized with unknown injuries.
"I join the Randolph Police in extending my condolences to young Mr. Boston's family on this tragic loss of life." Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrisey said.
No charges have been filed.
