DRACUT, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - Dracut police are investigating after several vehicles were struck by BB pellets in the area of Nashua Road.
The first incident happened this past Saturday, July 15 around 9:45 p.m. A driver called 9-1-1 to report someone was shooting a BB gun at their vehicle in the area. The vehicle was hit twice and driver suffered minor injuries after one of the pellets struck them in the hand.
At the same time, Dracut police say they received three other reports of vehicles being hit by BB pellets. Thankfully no one was injured.
Just hours later, around 2 a.m., Dracut police responded to an apartment building at 808 Nashua Road, after getting a call from residents reporting BB pellets had hit the property. A sliding glass door, storm door and window were damaged in one of the apartments, the other was not damaged.
Police searched the area following both incidents and have been unsuccessful in their search for a suspect(s). Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Dracut Police at 978-957-2123.
