OAK BLUFFS, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - It's a happy ending for a couple on the Vineyard, all thanks to a little help from Police Sergeant Christopher Wiggin.
Last month, Sergeant Wiggin got an usual request from a male citizen. The man wanted help with a surprise marriage proposal. His plan was simple, he wanted police to simulate a motor vehicle stop and call his girlfriend to come pick him up. Little did she know, he'd be hiding in the backseat of the police cruiser with flowers and a ring in hand, ready to ask those four little words: "Will you marry me?"
The plan went off without a hitch.
"No! I can't believe you just did that! I mean YES!" The girlfriend can be heard saying in the video.
