METHUEN, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - A motorcyclist has died after a crash in the area of Lowell and Arnold Streets on Wednesday evening.
Authorities responded to the deadly crash involving a Jeep Wrangler and motorcycle, just before 8:30 p.m. The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old from Haverhill, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Lawrence General Hospital, where he died.
"Police determined that the motorcycle, a 2009 Yamaha, was traveling eastbound on Lowell Street when it collided with a 2021 black Jeep Wrangler that was turning off Lowell Street and onto Arnold Street." Police said.
The driver of the Jeep, stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police.
