HARRISVILLE, N.H. (WBZNewsRadio) - The Massachusetts State Police K9 Unit is about to get it's fifth dog, trained in human remains detection.
Earlier this week, MSP K9 teams conducted joint water training with their counterparts in New Hampshire on Skatutakee Lake in Harrisville. The dogs' training allows them to sniff out human remains whether they're on shore or from a boat. The training is absolutely invaluable in aiding officers in homicide and missing person investigations.
