Patriots Fans React To Miami Dolphins Loss, 0-2 Start To The Season

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The New England Patriots lost a close game Sunday night and fans are disappointed with the slow start to the season.

The Miami Dolphins beat the Patriots 24-17, giving the Patriots an 0-2 record to start the season. Similar to last week’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Patriots had a chance to win the game late but were unable to complete the comeback.

Patriots fans are not happy with all the turnovers in the first two weeks of the season. So far, the Patriots have turned the ball over four times, two inceptions and two fumbles.

“After watching last night's game, it hurts that we’re 0-2,” said one fan after the game. “We’ve got a lot to work on.”

Not long ago, the Patriots were the team to beat in the AFC East. Dolphin’s quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is now 5-0 against the Patriots.

In both games this season, the Patriots’ final drive ended after review officials overturned fourth-down conversions.

“By finding all these ways to lose, eventually you’re going to find the ways to win,” one fan said.

The Patriots' next game is Sunday, Sept. 24 away against the New York Jets. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
