MILLBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — "I think it's genius, especially with Halloween around the corner," Mike told WBZ NewsRadio's Kim Tunnicliffe. He works at the gas station located next to Turgeon Funeral Home on Main Street in Millbury. The property just hit the market, but along with the 'For Sale' sign comes a warning: "Probably Haunted." The sign is now the talk of the town, with many locals getting a chuckle from the Halloween-themed warning.

Mike isn't so sure if the building is haunted or not, but he says it wouldn't be surprising.

"Kind of makes sense, old building, I think, late 1800s, could be," he said.

He's not the only neighbor contemplating the property's paranormal history. Christal lives nearby and says while she hasn't seen or heard anything out of the ordinary, however since the sign went up, she says she's been watching the property a little more closely.

"This property has so many possibilities — maybe a spooky Bed and Breakfast or a spooky-themed AirBNB?" Realtor Erika Kristal Eucker said. "Was once a gorgeous single family home and could definitely be used as one again! Maybe you want something different than the standard home?"

The building dates back to 1850 and was last sold in 2001. The property is currently listed at $769,000.
