BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - A woman from Dorchester has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize after winning Monday evening's drawing, featuring a massive $638 million jackpot.

Tiffany Brown bought her winning ticket at Supreme Liquors on Geneva Avenue in Dorchester after a family member encouraged her to take her chances in the game. Walking away with $1 million (before taxes), the game paid off for Brown.

No one won the jackpot on Wednesday night's drawing, but there were a few $2 million and $1 million winners in Georgia and Texas.

Saturday evening will be the next Powerball drawing. The grand prize currently stands at $725 million, which is roughly a $345.7 million cash prize.
