LYNNFIELD, Mass (WBZNewsRadio) - MarketStreet is celebrating it's 10th anniversary this month, as a North Shore destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment for the entire family.
As part of the celebration, Mi Casa Your Casa 2.0 is now on display. The world-renowned interactive art installation was created by Hector Esrawe & Ignacio Cadena with Serge Maheu and presented in collaboration with Creos. The artwork is intended to push the viewer to reflect on the meaning of 'home.' Made from eight red frames, creating the outline of houses, the public is encouraged to sit on a swing and take in their surroundings.
“Mi Casa Your Casa is a strong and subtle symbol in a geometric shape that allows us to build a unique iconic piece, one that creates a continuous dialogue with audiences and capable of continuous changes and mutations,” said renowned artist and Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 co-creator, Hector Esrawe.
The installation has been traveling around the globe, including a short stop at Boston's Seaport Common in 2021.

We look forward to the next ten years and beyond, delivering a diverse and vibrant collection of retail and fun-filled calendars of events and unique offerings for all,” said Charlotte Woods, General Manager of MarketStreet.
Apart from the artwork, the month-long celebration will bring a number of special events to MarketStreet including discounts at Barnes & Noble, a mini-birthday cake dessert, complete with Funfetti sprinkles from Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, and a special anniversary cocktail from la Gallina.
What's more, each Thursday this month, MarketStreet will be offering limited edition Birthday Bash swag at it's property outside of Starbucks from 2:00 p.m. (while supplies last.)
