Historic Templeton Hotel & Pub Goes Up In Flames

TEMPLETON, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - A historic building in Templeton was devoured by flames Wednesday night.

Firefighters were called to the Otter River Pub & Red Onion Pool Hall on Main Street just after 9:30 p.m. with both Hubbardston and Gardener departments responding. Firefighters remained on scene through out the night, fighting hot spots.

The building dates back to 1880 and has been home to the pub since the 1960s.

No word on what started the blaze.
