BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - A man from the Granite State is the second resident in just five weeks to win a $1 Million prize, on a ticket bought in Massachusetts.

Jonathan Bulmer bought the winning ticket at A.L. Prime Energy on Bridge Street in Dracut, and claimed his winnings this week in Dorchester at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters. Bulmer says he likes to play when the jackpot gets this high and this win is one for the books.

Last month, another New Hampshire resident won a $1 Million prize in the "$10,000,000 Gold" instant ticket game.

"Dracut currently ranks 19th in calendar year 2023 lottery sales among all cities and towns in Massachusetts," the Massachusetts Lottery said. "Dracut is one of three municipalities in the top 20 that border New Hampshire, joining Haverhill and Methuen."
