BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - A Roslindale man is under arrest and facing murder charges in connection to an August shooting in Dorchester.
Boston Police Fugitive Task Force with the help of District D-14 Drug Control Unit and State Police, were able to arrest 39 year old Tony Vance. Vance is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court sometime today.
The shooting happened back on August 27th, when officers responded to reports of a person shot around 5:40 p.m. in the 900-block of Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester. Derrell Russell was discovered on the scene, suffering from a gunshot wound. The 33 year old was taken to the hospital, where he died.
