TEWKSBURY, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - An investigation is underway in Tewksbury after a resident discovered a dead animal had been placed on the windshield of her parked car this week.
Tewksbury police say they responded to a call on Marshall Street just after 4:00 a.m. on Thursday Oct. 11th. The resident told officers a dead animal, later determined to be a racoon was put on the windshield of her car.
During their investigation, officers reviewed surveillance footage that allegedly shows a person walking in the area carrying a black plastic bag around 12:30 a.m. The person then appears to dump the body of a racoon onto the windshield of the vehicle, before running off.
The suspect was wearing light blue jeans and a black watch cap. Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Tewksbury Police Dept. at 978-640-4385
