BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - An 18 year old from Bridgewater has died following a motorcycle crash on Bedford Street.
Police responded to the area of 1001 Bedford Street on Thursday afternoon to reports of a crash between a motorcycle and van. Police found the 18 year old motorcycle driver lying in the road, suffering from serious injuries. The young man was taken to the hospital where he later died.
During their initial investigation, Bridgewater Police said the motorcycle appears to have been swerving in and out of traffic. At one point, while passing traffic on the right, the speeding motorcycle crashed into the Ford, before losing control and crashing into the Jeep on the other side of the street. No one else was injured in the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
