ASHBY, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - A motorcyclist from Fitchburg has died following a crash on Thursday evening.
Police responded to 163 Greenville Road just before 6:00 p.m. and found the 22-year-old man unresponsive. Life saving measures were performed on scene, before the man was taken to Leominster Hospital, where he passed away.
In their initial investigation, police said it appears the man was driving southbound on Greenville Road when he lost control as he drove around a curve. The bike crossed into the northbound lane, before driving off the road. No other vehicles or persons were involved.
