BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Happy Veterans Day Weekend. For many, this three-day weekend is a great excuse to get out of town for a quick-trip but for those of us staying put, there is plenty to do whether you're looking towards the holiday season or honoring local veterans.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low 50s. Temperatures will drop slightly overnight with lows in the mid-30s before warming back up slightly on Saturday, hitting the upper 40s.
