LOUDON, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — An earthquake struck central New Hampshire for the second time in less than two weeks Wednesday afternoon.
The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed a 2.0-magnitude quake was recorded at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday in Loudon, off Old Shaker Road.
On Dec. 22, a 2.7-magnitude earthquake centered in Concord shook around 11:15 p.m. It was felt by shoppers at the Steeplegate Mall off Route 106.
Elsewhere in New England, a 2.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded around 35 miles off the coast of Rockport, Massachusetts on Dec. 26.
