BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — MBTA officials installed new, larger and more legible signs on some bus stops around Greater Boston Monday.

New signage marked the authority's first step in its Bus Network Redesign initiative, officials said in a press release.

The program will change bus routes so they better reflect where riders live and work, according to the MBTA.

Service changes will start in Dec., 2024.
