Logan Airport's Travel Numbers Exceeding Predicted Expectations For Spring

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As the month of May is underway, the travel numbers at Logan Airport are exceeding the previously anticipated expectations for travel at this time of year for air travel.  

In April, there were approximately 3.6 million passengers passing through Logan Airport, which surpassed the 2023 figures for the same time by four percent.

The airline industry has seen a successful rebound in travel numbers since the days of the pandemic which put air travel to a halt. The airlines have also reported seeing an increase in business class travel too.  

These numbers come before the hit summer and holiday travel seasons, which generally bring peak numbers for airlines.
