Boston Police Return Stolen Bike To Girl In Hyde Park

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Detectives and Officers assigned to Hyde Park’s District E-18 recently went above and beyond by locating and returning a bike that was reported stolen on May 18th, 2024.  

In addition to returning the bike, officers went out of their way to ensure the bike was repaired before it was returned to the child.  

The child was ecstatic upon being reunited with her bike according to officers, and the actions of the officers exemplify the importance of compassion and commitment to the job and uniform.  

“Their dedication shone through as they arranged for the necessary fixes, aiming to restore not just the physical integrity of the bike but also the joy it brought to its young owner,” said the BPD in a statement.
