WESTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Sunday afternoon, the Weston Fire Department police dispatch responded to calls of a collision between a motor vehicle and bicycle at the intersection of Boston Post Rd and Fiske Lane. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a 58-year-old female with serious injuries after she was struck by a mid-sized sedan.

Due to the extent of the woman’s injuries, Boston MedFlight was requested, and she was treated on scene by Weston FD EMT’s and Pro EMS paramedics. Boston MedFlight took over patient care and she was transported to a Boston Trauma center in serious condition.
The accident is under investigation by the Weston Police Department.
