ARL Reunites Lost 8-Year-Old Cat Found At Logan Airport With Family

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) —  An 8-year-old lost cat was reunited with his family on Thursday by the Animal Rescue League of Boston after he was found at Logan Airport.  

According to the ARL, Harry had been missing since late July, his family assumed he was wandering near their Somerville home. Instead, he wound up in a Logan Airport garage 10 miles away.  

 Massport employees contacted ARL workers, who arrived at the airport and transported him to an ARL facility where he was examined and found to be microchipped.

The cat was reunited with his family soon after.  

The ARL said lost pets that are microchipped have a higher chance of being reunited with their owners.
