Actor Macaulay Culkin went viral after sharing a post of himself dressed up as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow for Halloween.

"Game on @joeyb_9," Culkin wrote on an Instagram post showing himself wearing Burrow's jersey and matching pants while holding a Bengals helmet.

"Ball's in your court, Joey B," he added in a comment.

Culkin's costume is inspired by NFL fans commonly pointing out a resemblance between Burrow and the actor during his run as one of the biggest child stars in cinematic history.

"I'll never unsee the resemblance lol," one Instagram user wrote.

"Lolll I see no difference," another user commented.

"I would always tell my wife he definitely looks like Macaulay Culkin," a third user wrote.

"Now you know why you'll never see @culkinmania and @joeyb_9 in the same place at the same time," another user commented.

Burrow, a former No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, currently ranks sixth among NFL quarterback in passing yards (1,993) and third in touchdowns (15) through his first eight games of the 2024 season. The Bengals, however, have fallen to 3-5, ranking 23rd in points allowed per game (25.4) and 24th in total defense (258.6 yards allowed per game).

“We’re 3-5,” Burrow said ahead of Sunday's (November 3) game against the Las Vegas Raiders. “You go to 3-6, then you gotta basically win out to get in. Urgency’s very high every week from here on out.”
