BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Animal Rescue League of Boston is highlighting an unusual pair of pooches that can be adopted for the holidays.
Karma, a five year-old female American bulldog, and Gigi, a one-year-old female Chihuahua, are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
The dogs were brought to the shelter due to a housing situation. They didn’t come to the shelter as a bonded pair, but in the shelter they became inseparable, according to ARL.
ARL said the two are “gentle and fun-loving when together.” Gigi is a “social butterfly,” while Karma is “more of an introvert.”
The pair also often nap together, according to ARL.
Anyone interested is encouraged to meet the dogs in person at ARL’s Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center in the South End.
