LYNNFIELD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) MarketStreet in Lynnfield is bringing back its mini golf course for a limited time, inspired by the Masters Tournament.

The Mini Masters will be open from April 21-27, when most schools get April break.

“We wanted to play off the Masters this year and what better time to do that than school vacation week,” said Arianna Billias, marketing manager at MarketStreet.

The Green at MarketStreet offered mini golf last summer, called Putt N’Play, and Billias said it was so popular that organizers decided to bring it back.

“We’ve been getting so many questions on when it’s coming back,” Billias said. “So what a fun time and a fun way to play with it, with the Masters and everyone in the golf mindset.”

The nine-hole course will feature some local landmarks, including the orange dinosaur from Route 1 in Saugus and Pinky, a pink elephant on wheels that’s often seen in North Shore parades.

Other holes are inspired by the large signs on Route 1, the Revere Beach Sand Sculpting Festival, and the old Colonial Country Club in Lynnfield.

While the course is open to all ages, there will be a special adults-only night called Mini Masters After Dark on April 24, featuring a beer garden by Notch Garden and live music.

The course will be open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and tickets are $7. All proceeds go toward the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro North.

With the gloomy April showers and unseasonably cold weather this month, Billias said she hopes the event will inspire warmer weather.

“We'll force spring upon us,” Billias said.
