BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — There will be detours and closures on the roads and MBTA routes ahead of the 129th Annual Boston Marathon on Monday. Here's what you need to know.
MBTA Service Changes
All T lines will operate on a regular weekday schedule, with additional services added before and after the race.
Copley Station (Green) will be closed on Monday. South Street (Green Line B), Kent Street (Green Line C), and Saint Mary’s Street (Green Line C) stations will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The MBTA said restrictions and adjustments to services on the day of the marathon are subject to change throughout the day.
All buses will operate on a Saturday schedule, but may be detoured.
The Saint James Avenue bus stop at Copley will be out of service until Tuesday, April 22. Riders will need to detour to Saint James Ave @ Clarendon St.
The Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail line will be on a special Marathon Monday schedule. All other commuter rail lines will operate on regular weekday schedules.

Ash Street at Blueberry Lane
Cedar Street at Legacy Farms North
East Main Street at every intersection
Closures began at 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Route 135 Eastbound and Westbound closed on Monday at 7:15 a.m.
Waverly Street (Route 135) will be closed on Monday from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Route 135 will be closed on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Central Street (Route 135) from the Natick line to Grove Street.
Washington Street (Route 16) from Grove Street to the Newton line.
These closures are in effect from 8:30 a.m. until the end of the race. Officials said the timing for reopening is subject to change.
