BEVERLY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) Fans of the show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” may want to head to Beverly this weekend to see improv legends at work.

Comedians Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, best known for their work on the show, will perform Saturday at The Cabot for the tour “Asking For Trouble.”

“It’s sort of like a live version of ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ It all starts with audience suggestions, we have audience members on stage with us,” Mochrie said.

The TV show has the performers come up with characters, scenes and songs on the spot, either from audience suggestions or prompts from the host. Mochrie and Sherwood were fixtures on both the U.S. and U.K. versions of the show.

“My first show, my daughter was 2 months old. On the taping of our last show, she was 33,” Mochrie said.

The show at The Cabot will be PG, and full of light-hearted fun.

“There’s nothing political,” Mochrie said. “It's just goofiness.”

Tickets are still available for the show, which starts at 8 p.m.
