BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Today is Father's Day and some dads like Charlie, are observing the holiday with a tee time.
On Sunday morning, tee sheets were packed at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Boston's Franklin Park. Charlie was at the course with his daughters and grandchildren, offering them some tips on their swing.
"It's my favorite thing to do so I make sure every Father's Day I'm here at Franklin Park playing golf," said Charlie.
Jeff was at the course enjoying a solo round of golf ahead of plans with his family later in the day.
"It's the one day that fathers can do whatever they want to do and I play golf 24-7, so I'm out here enjoying myself," says Jimmy.
Jeff said he wants that golfing on Father's Day will become an annual activity with their kids.
"My son has gotten into golf a lot in the last couple of years," said Jeff. "Hopefully it will become a tradition."
