BERLIN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Three people were hurt in an early-morning crash on I-495 south involving three tractor-trailers and a pickup truck. The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening, according to state police.
The pickup truck was pulling a horse trailer, but there were no animals in the trailer at the time of the crash.
The crash shut down the highway for hours while crews cleared the scene, diverting traffic onto Route 62.

As of 8:00 a.m. the right lane of 495 south was open to traffic while the left and middle lanes remain closed for cleanup.
