ARLINGTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — According to Arlington Police Department, an 80-year-old man from Cambridge is being charged in connection with a hit-and-run that happened Saturday night.
Arlington Police Chief Julie Flaherty said the department has identified the man as the driver who struck a pedestrian on Saturday March 7 at around 10:15 p.m on Mass Ave in Arlington.
Officers found a 48-year-old man from Baldwinville laying in the roadway with serious, life-threatening injuries. As of Sunday morning, he is reportedly in stable condition.
The driver has not yet been named.
He will be arraigned at a later date in Cambridge District Court.
