First responders received several frantic phone calls about the three-car collision on Route 88 near State Road at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
Officials said seven people, including several children, were transported to Charlton, St. Anne's, St. Luke's, and Hasbro Children's Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
A 10-year-old girl did not survive. The conditions of the other six patients are currently unknown.
