BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It can be hard enough traveling for the holidays; it can be even harder when you have a broken foot.
That was Drew's dilemma at Logan International Airport as he waited to board his flight to Columbus, Ohio Sunday.
"You just have to wait a little bit longer sometimes to get the wheelchair, but it makes easier to get around, for sure," Drew told WBZ NewsRadio.

Drew was one of an estimated 40 million people expected to cram the nation's airports during the end-of-year holiday season, according to the Transportation Security Administration. The period stretches through Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.
It has been a busy and trouble-filled weekend at Logan. According to Flight Aware, Saturday saw 565 delays and 98 cancellations, while Sunday has seen more than 300 delays, but much fewer cancellations.
A woman waiting for someone to land at Logan noted the busyness at other airports, saying, "He’s coming from Fargo, North Dakota, and the airport this morning was very packed, and it’s usually not like that at all."
Those arriving at Logan also found some difficulties.
"We arrived late, we got delayed heading to the gate, and they still haven’t unloaded the airplane," said John, who was heading to Cape Cod with two kids in tow. How did he pass the time?
"Watching children spin in circles," John answered.
And for the arrivals heading out the door, a cold winter blast greeted them with sub-freezing temperatures.
"I couldn’t find my winter coat, so it’s going to be a little chilly," one man said.
"I am wearing khaki cargo shorts," said Scott from Bangor, Maine. "As long as my upper body is warm, my legs are fine."
