BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Infuriated MBTA riders gave the MBTA Board of Directors a piece of their mind at this week's meeting. For half an hour at Wednesday's board meeting, T riders lambasted the state and reliability of the system.
One especially incensed rider, Meghan Henningson of Quincy, left a scathing voicemail three minutes long.
"It takes me two hours coming home from Kendall to Quincy Adams. That is disgusting...I work a part time job commuting! 15 to 20 hours a week!" she said. "It's a dumpster fire."

"I have a video of the cars passing me on the highway," Henningson said. She wanted the T board to ride the Red Line and see how bad it was.
Another rider from Framingham who wanted to remain anonymous said his company was threatening to fire him for coming in late so much because of the MBTA. "You people are evil!" he said. The man said he would sue the system if he did get fired for his lateness.
At least three other riders came to the meeting in person to testify about their experiences riding. Andre Mortons of Boston agreed that the speed of the T was the major issue.
"It would be faster to bike if I could actually not die on my way to work," he said.
The anger comes as Gov. Maura Healey replaces three Baker Administration holdovers on the MBTA Board.
