QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Panacea Wellness Cannabis Dispensary in Quincy cooked up something mellow and sweet in honor of National Caramel Day on Saturday.
Joseph Hyot, the manager of the Quincy dispensary, said the 18th century culinary concoction of what we know and love as caramel today is the basis of their new product — Betty’s Eddies Caramelt Aways.
“We called it Caramelt Away so you can drift off to your cozy place,” he told WBZ NewsRadio.
That’s because the edible candy includes THC and CBG for that “relaxing," leisurely-laying-on-the-beach feeling, with the help some tropical ingredients like coconut cream.
At Panacea, a pack of ten costs $18, and it is vegan, gluten and dairy free. Betty's Eddies' website also shows where you can find the Caramelt Aways at other dispensaries in the Commonwealth.
