SALEM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Salem Police are looking for the owner of a dog that was abandoned on a Salem street two weeks ago.
The dog, an older female German Shepherd, was left tied to a pole on Highland Avenue near Swampscott Road on January 24. Police said the suspect left the area in a mini van.
Anyone with information about the dog is asked to call Animal Control Officer Famico at the Salem Police Department at 978-744-0171, ext. 50121.
