BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston residents are “all shook up” after an Elvis Presley-themed pop-up bar stops by the city.
Kevin Kern with Memphis Tourism brought a little piece of Graceland to The Point on Hanover St. Guests could relax in a replica of Elvis’ famous “Jungle Room.”
“There’s a green carpet, there’s the Tiki style furnishings in there, the exact same ones that they have in the Jungle Room,” said Kern. “We found some of the vintage furnishings from the same collection.”
Guests could also cozy up to the “Love Me Tender Bar,” where Elvis-themed cocktails were on the menu.
“We’ll have the Beale Street Blues, a Memphis Old Fashioned, a Heartbreak Hotel Highball and a Bacardi Burning Love,” said Kern.
The pop-up will be open until Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 11:00 P.M.
