BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Beth Israel Lahey Health System reported another 40 confirmed coronavirus cases among its staff on Saturday, bringing to total number of infected employees to 393.
According to BILH, at least two facilities in the system are reporting more employees than inpatients with confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston has 157 employees compared to 155 inpatients with confirmed cases, and Winchester Hospital has 30 employees compared to 20 inpatients with confirmed cases.
Every facility in the BILH System has reported at least one case of COVID-19 among its staff, however not all of them are in patient-facing roles.
