Most Of America Rooting For Bruins To Lose Stanley Cup

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Bruins are Blues are even at one in the Stanley Cup Final. Game 3 in St. Louis tomorrow.

If the B's win, that'll be Boston's 13th championship in 23 title-round appearances since February 2002. It's absurd.

Patriots have won six Super Bowls. Red Sox, four World Series. Bruins and Celtics have each hoisted trophies once. Revolution are 0-5, but we're spoiled—and hated.

I don't know, I'm enjoying it. But, there's something to that.

According to Twitter data from 40,000 geotagged tweets from Sunday to Wednesday, only five states outside New England are rooting for the B's: Hawaii, North Dakota, Louisiana, South Carolina, and California.

That last one makes sense, as St. Louis knocked out San Jose.

Drink it in, Boston.
