Amy Klobuchar Takes Early Lead In New Hampshire Primary

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar has taken an early lead in New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary when tallying the two dozen votes cast shortly after midnight in three small towns.

The vote totals are in for Dixville Notch, Hart’s Location and Millsfield, NH, the first places to cast ballots and declare primary results, and Klobuchar leads with eight. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders are tied for second with four votes each.

Andrew Yang has three, and former Vice President Joe Biden and Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg each tallied two votes. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg managed to notch two votes in Dixville, despite not being on the ballot. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and Tom Steyer trailed with one vote each.

President Donald Trump led the Republican Primary with 15 votes, ahead of former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld.
