WALPOLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A certified Veterinary technician in Plymouth County offers emergency transportation services for pets in need of critical care.
Chantele Dalmida, owner of Pet Emergency Transport Service (P.E.T.S.), said the company's pet ambulance comes "fully equipped with oxygen, stretchers, and monitoring equipment." That transportation can be either home-to-vet or vet-to-vet.
"My most common transport is oxygen support," Dalmida said. "We provide oxygen therapy for dogs. There are quite a few that are unable to get up. So, mobility issues are another big one, especially the bigger dogs.”
Dalmida also provides in-home services like nail trims, medication administration, and help getting cats in their carriers.
