MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Andrew Yang, the entrepreneur who made "math" the buzzword of his longshot campaign, has suspended his bid for the White House.
The Boston Globe reported Yang told his supporters, "While there is great work left to be done, you know I am the math guy, and it is clear tonight from these numbers that we are not going to win this race.”
Yang made the announcement shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, as results started coming in for the New Hampshire Primary.
"I am so proud of this campaign," he tweeted. "Thank you to everyone who got us here."
