CAMBRIDGE (WBZ NewsRadio) — Along Mass. Avenue’s Porter Square in Cambridge is what can best be described as an outdoor art exhibit.

About two dozen banners featuring diverse artwork are on display that graduating seniors at Lesley University have created.

The students behind the artwork represent several different art programs including illustration, photography, and fine arts.

Leslie Art Professor Kate Castelli said the works displayed outdoors are produced by students completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees and a great way to have their works shown outside of a gallery setting.

“These students are getting ready to go out into the world with their unique visual voice,” she said. “These banners are a great opportunity taking their artwork outside a traditional art gallery and into a really amazing public space.”

Castelli said there’s no admission to see the works of these talented artists within the vibrant atmosphere of Mass. Ave. in Cambridge.
