MALDEN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A shooting in Malden killed a 23-year-old man Saturday.
The incident occurred around 6:18 p.m. at Bowdoin Apartments, according to officials. The victim has been identified as Jeury Batista, 23, of Salem.
Batista was pronounced dead a local hospital. The incident is not believed to have been a random occurrence, according to authorities.
Authorities are currently investigating the shooting.
